The successful annexation of the 460-acre Baptist Camp into the Town of Monument was completed, featuring a suburban density community. Engaging adjacent rural neighborhoods ensured suitable buffering and density transitions. The plan included an extensive trail and open space network, utilizing treed areas and steeper slopes. Phased development plans, incorporating neighbor feedback and revisions to access proposals addressed concerns. The design encompassed community parks, monument signage, and streetscape enhancements.
