N.E.S. Inc., supported Diller Scofidio + Renfro, AMD Architects and Hargreaves Associates in the landscape design of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Museum (USOM) project. The USOM was one of five unique projects that supports and promotes the Colorado Springs City for Champions, Regional Tourism Acts incentive projects. N.E.S. Inc. provided entitlement services, supportive landscape architecture design, construction documentation and administration. Working with the design team N.E.S. provided early entitlement services for the approval of a Development plan for the Form Based Central Zone District in Downtown Colorado Springs. Early concepts prepared, formed the vision of the site’s perspective for site and landscape intent. N.E.S. worked to bring those visions to a final construction documentation set that implemented the unique visions of the Rocky Mountain landscape and chevron shaped landscape with colorful native plant communities that anchored the building to the west and framed views to the Pikes Peak corridor and Downtown Colorado Springs.
