The Pikes Peak Region Peace Officer’s Memorial commemorates law enforcement officers who lost their lives in duty. It honors federal, state, local, and military officers with an entrance facing Pikes Peak, a curved wall, and a fallen lion on a granite base. The lion symbolizes protection, surrounded by shields and names of the fallen, embodying loyalty and courage. Sculpted by local artist Larry Terrafranca, the memorial spans 71,000 square feet, including a walk of honor adorned with pavers.
