NES worked with the project team to skillfully leverage the area’s natural features, integrating recreational potential by utilizing natural drainage corridors for the golf course. Functional and aesthetic bridges enhance the community design, serving as entry markers and facilitating pedestrian movement, while allowing golf carts and stormwater passage beneath. The careful separation between golf cart paths and regional trails ensures safe and efficient pedestrian circulation. Additionally, the site includes an age-targeted 55+ recreation center, further enriching the community’s appeal and ensuring a diverse range of recreational opportunities for all residents.
