NES was proud to sponsor the Fountain Creek Watershed District during the annual Great American Cleanup in April. The Fountain Creek Watershed District is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful which sponsors the Great American Cleanup in more than 15,000 communities throughout the country. This spring nearly 200 volunteers in 3 communities along Monument and Fountain Creeks contributed 66 hours to collect 600 bags of trash. Over 15,000 pounds of trash was collected throughout the Fountain Creek Watershed. Trash collected ranged from shopping carts to couches to a Yeti figurine.
